Examen Escrito - Written Exam

Por mucho que me gusta seguir hablando de lo ineficiente e inútil algunas de las cosas que la DGAC ha hecho, lo que si, han mejorado en algunos aspectos. 

Una de estas áreas es con respecto a la prueba escrito. 

En los viejos tiempos, este requería de uno a sentarse con el inspector y pasar medio día haciendo el examen escrito , y después de tener éxito, de pasar a la prueba oral y práctico. Ahora, usted puede ir a la oficina del aeropuerto , y sentarse frente a un computador. 

Por lo general, usted tiene que solicitar la prueba con anterioridad al inscribir en el sistema de licencias ALVI , y seleccionar las opciones para solicitar una prueba, a continuación, una llamada a la oficina local ARO para fijar un día y una hora , y finalmente un correo electrónico a la DGAC para recordarles para cargar el examen en el día y hora establecido. 

Estoe es un verdadero ahorro de tiempo y le permite obtener la parte del examen rendida con anticipacion.

As much as I like to go on about how inefficient and useless some of the things the DGAC has done, they are at least in certain aspects improving. One of these areas is with respect to the written exam testing.

In the old days this required sitting down with the inspector and spending half a day doing the written test, and then if successful, passing on to the oral and practical test.

Now, you can go down to the airport office, and sit the test on a computer. Usually you have to send set up the test previously by inscribing in the ALVI license system, and selecting the options for asking for a test, then a call to the local ARO office to set a day and time, and finally an email to the DGAC to remind them to upload the exam on that day and time.

This is a real timesaver, and allows you to get that part of the exam out of the way early.
